URMUL Trust is seeking a dedicated and experienced Program Coordinator to lead our community health initiatives across 40+ villages in the Bikaner district of Rajasthan. This role is central to our mission of improving maternal and child health outcomes through culturally appropriate, community-led interventions.

The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of rural health systems in India, strong community mobilization skills, and a passion for grassroots development. You will work closely with Accredited Social Health Activists (ASHAs), local government health departments, and community leaders to design and implement sustainable health programs.

• Design, implement, and monitor community health programs focused on maternal health, child nutrition, and preventive care
• Coordinate with 150+ community health workers (ASHAs, ANMs) across project villages to ensure program delivery
• Build partnerships with district health authorities, PHCs, and NGOs for resource mobilization and program synergy
• Conduct regular field visits to monitor program implementation, provide mentorship, and gather feedback
• Develop training materials and facilitate capacity-building workshops for community health volunteers
• Collect, analyze, and report program data using both digital tools and traditional methods
• Prepare quarterly reports for donors, highlighting achievements, challenges, and impact metrics
• Represent URMUL Trust in district-level health coordination meetings and advocacy forums

Essential:

• Master's degree in Public Health, Social Work, Community Development, or related field
• Minimum 3-5 years of experience managing health or development programs in rural India
• Proven experience working with government health systems and community health workers
• Fluency in Hindi and Rajasthani; working knowledge of English
• Strong facilitation, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency in MS Office and basic data analysis tools
• Willingness to travel extensively (60-70%) to rural field locations

Preferred:

• Experience with NHM (National Health Mission) programs and reporting systems
• Knowledge of participatory rural appraisal (PRA) methods and community mobilization techniques
• Experience with digital data collection tools (ODK, KoboToolbox, etc.)
• Understanding of gender mainstreaming and social inclusion approaches
